A number of players play for civilian clubs at National and Junior status. The 2012/13 season will see a number of players returning from operations in Afghanistan.
Zak Vakasawaqa (Left) was Man of the Match for the Sappers vs Gunners - Zak was excellent in all phases of the game passing well and breaking through the defence with some great running and also making key tackles in defence. Zak thoroughly deserves his Man of the Match award. Well Done! The announcement of Capt Andy Sanger as the Army Senior XV Coach (recent RE RFC Head Coach) demonstrates the success of development at all levels throughout the club.Unit Rugby Officers who have players displaying potential to play at Corps level should contact the Director of Rugby, Head Coach or Senior Team Manager. |
